Oh, the animals. One afternoon I took Ramon, who is wheelchair-bound, to see the animals and found lots of boys who like to observe/taunt them. I accidentally captured on video (at the very end) an unfortunate incident: one of the goats head-butted the heck out of little Christian, pushing him face first into the ground. I felt sorry for the kid, but every time I watch this video, I can't help but laugh. The thing is, he'd already been head-butted once early in the day. That's what you get for messing with the goats, but the poor thing looked so sweet and innocent beforehand. In case you're wondering, he wasn't hurt. And the next day, the same goat came after me. He got me. Barely.

I hope I'm doing this right!?!? Never been on a blogspot before...Mary Ellen and Lauren, this is Mary George. I saw Syd and Betsy at John & Jo's wedding last night and they told me you all were serving in Mexico. What an awesome experience for you both! Just wanted to say hello and that I am praying for you all and the kiddos you are taking care of. I've got some great pics from the wedding that I know you all would like to see but how do I post those??? Is there an email address where I can send them to you? Just let me know...you all are in my thoughts. TAKE CARE!

Last year when my husband, Lenny went to Lily, there was a goat that was always getting loose. He would be fine one minute the next he would be head butting people. They had to take it by the ear and lead it back to the pen or the place where it was again tied up. I was warned about the goat but never encountered it while I was there. Goood thing!
